Created in loving homage to The Shipping Forecast, broadcast daily on BBC Radio 4 ("issued by the Met Office on behalf of the Maritime and Coastguard Agency"). For those of us who consider it among the most relaxing sounds in the world.
The Shipping Forecast has a fascinating history, with tangential links to Charles Darwin. Naturally Wikipedia has plenty to say about it.

You get that the Infinite Shipping Forecast is a toy, right? It is not an accurate or up-to-date shipping forecast. It's soothing, randomised internet thingy.
If you rely on this to sail your boat, you will sink and you will die.
